okayy.. when you open it how do you play the bass sound? or play any sound, people do tutorials and they dont click anywhere and it just plays.. what do you press?

02tmarriott is right, you need a midi keyboard. If you dont have a midi keyboard, you will have to use the pencil tool in the sequencer window and draw your notes in manually.
