@sweetjimmyhotpants depends what Batman you are talkin about. There are very many different variations of him. Some of them depict him a bit more angry, vengeful and scary. That could also be seen as rage, since he is tryin to avenge the death of his parents.

I think the best thing about Batman is that he can be interpreted in an infinite number of ways. He can be light and kiddish, sleek and heroic, or dark and gruesome. You can't go wrong! Batman IS and will always be the best superhero ever because he can fit into ANY storyline. He is a writer/director's wet dream. I actually think it was by chance (even Bob Kane didn't know it'd e this big), and the whole Joker/Batman scenario will NEVER get old!

@JULIENMOK No offense, but All Star Batman and Robin isn't exactly considered to be "good", and Batman acts extremely out of character to the point where it seems like a parody, even compared to Frank Millar's other works.

That said, artistically, this was pretty damn good and it's pretty clear this is supposed to be a unique and darker take on Batman, so I kinda liked it.
