I'm thinking not. He only had it in Alpha because he was voiced by the guy who voiced Amuro (the original Gundam pilot) back in the 70's Jeeg show. In Shin Jeeg he is voiced by a different guy, though incidently, the guy did voice a Gundam character (Sting, who just so happens to be one of only 3 people in the Cosmic Era to ever say the word Gundam).
