One of the greatest soundtracks of all time is "A View to a Kill" But, on John Barry's 40th Anniversy Album he has a track that includes some of the most awsome scores from throughout the movie.

  • I'm not a particular fan of orchestral music but this, and all of John Barry's work for that matter, is just mindblowing and sends shivers down my spine. A very under-rated film this aswell.

  • Great chord progression, great melody, classic. Even Duran Duran could not screw it up.

  • John Barry and Roger Moore held the franchise together.

  • James Bond wouldn't have been the same without John Barry. His music elevated the franchise to greatness. Normally I dont like orchestral scores (more of synth nutter myself).....but in John's case I make an exception.

The thing that is so amazing is that the music is instantly regonisable as a Bond theme...even though it differs from film to film.

My personal favourite is The Living Daylights....but thats because I love the late 80's synth driven vibe.

  • This makes my heart melt, I love Rog, even as an old geeza~

He is pure class, sophistication, sexy and sauve.

Best score, badly written film, still like it though!

    RIP John Barry, dearly remembered

  • Yeah, Roger was old in AVTAK, but the scenes with this tune are the best ever and ever in Bond saga. Pure class.

  • anybody know any more moviescores similar to this with james bond ???

  • DAMN! That powerful music that starts at 2:00 i spent a WEEK trying to find it years ago! I loved it so much because it was from that scene where he rescues Stacey. Another great example of why i love this movie. I was told that it was never released! When i heard it just now i thought "OMFG!!!" my heart jumped lol.

  • Beautiful.. My 2nd fav Bond movie after Goldeneye

  • 3:02 is the best sound ive everrrr heardddd !!!
