この映画は大好きで、なぜ劇場に足を運ばなかったのだろうと今で­も後悔しています。 私はまだ年齢が若くテレビで始めて知ったので仕方がありませんが­。 アニメについて。 見せ場を作ってやろう、キャラクターを脚色しようとせず、 戦争になれば自分を守ることで大人でさえ、冷たくなって しまうことを映画から悟りました。 ただ、そういった現実が次々この幼い強大に ふりかかってきます。何も知らないsetsukoが 笑うだけで和んでいく光だったのに、 その光も最後には消えてしまいます。 家でＤＶＤを見ながら涙が止まりませんでした。 in japan

As a 50 year old man I sat and watched the film with tears rolling off my cheeks and a huge lump in my throat, the saddest film I have ever seen and one of the best films I have ever seen, I tell people they have to watch it and they either say no I don't want to watch a cartoon or no I don't think I will like it, they don't know what a visual treat they are missing.

@bcmimichan Please finish watching the movie even if the ending makes the earlier parts pale in comparison (yes, you will cry harder) it is a great movie and makes you think about how wars really affect people
