@slomo93 Well I know this is just six months later but you never hear Palpatine be called Darth Sideious in the originals. He was just the Emperor. The name Darth Vader just sounded like a cool threatening name that Vader probably thought up in order to put the past of Anakin Skywalker behind him.

They should've said that the Sith were an organization that drew from the Dark Side of the force and were essentially the opposite of the Jedi. That would've been explained so easily in one line.

This is completely wrong. If you can prove you were under duress then anything you signed under duress is void. I'd say a blockade counts as duress.
