  • Some of your views are very judgmental which is fine but I don't know what you base this stuff on.

Both my parents and 4 siblings were 9-to-5 people and none of them eat coffee or donuts like ever let alone to get through a day and neither do I and neither did any of my 4 grandparents so I don't know.

Some people actually enjoy doing their jobs, getting paid, and living they way they want to live just like you do and I do. I could never work I 9 to 5 job.

I do not use my college degree.

  • @BuyMyTools Yes it may seem so, enlightened is he who has been temporally duped by the system into believing a fallacy on which much of western culture has been indoctrinated by the industrial complex where bondage is liberty, "Idle" is immoral & social dependence is taboo.

Granted if one's efforts are interesting enough to warrant a dedication of servitude perhaps, After all last Winter a 32 Hr. stretch performing TRS was am idyllic stroll.

  • @BuyMyTools However in the case of exerting physical effort & squandering one's life so inscribed upon his obituary can declare "Retired; following a faithful 30 years at Company X," is far from utopian. The doughnut crack was in no way to be taken at face value nor was it implying a spare tire around mid section. Only as satire placing DD V.S. Starbuck's crowd for instance. The sparse few that enjoy masochism don't reflect the direction of much of my sub base, myself included.

  • @BuyMyTools ..Con't 3.) I often had extended hrs. in my prime so that was not my point, but eclectic "9-5" conformism for the sake of social acceptance in my opinion is foolish & akin to "Billions of watts saved" due to Daylight Savings time being extended. Well I turn my light on when "I" wish to refrain from bumping upon an obstacle course in the living room "Not" when I'm told that "Noir " is "Light" or V.S. Atleast we agree on that one lol

Pt. 27, "Kawasaki Ski-Do" will cover this in depth

  • The grandfather that was a MD also used to help people by giving random people jobs to make steps or fix something. Thousands of times he took food or a crafts someone make in exchange for delivering a baby or a medical bill. Those days are now gone, sadly. He delivered 30 babies in a month one time and only got paid for ONE baby and he worked from 7 to 8 six days per week.

He actually hung out with "regular" people like welders and a fisherman and stuff.

  • @BuyMyTools I'm pleased to know your granddad valued humanity as a whole.

  • @BuyMyTools ...3.) Con't...Just thrifty, generous, mainly in spirit, & content with themselves

A university degree is not a guarantee if success as evidenced in my instance. Yes unusual however factual, perhaps I'll do a piece on that in due time.

While I respect all forms of making a living I personally was suggesting that I would only wish to support myself in the capacity of an independent, as opposed to a "cog in the workx" Otherwise, atleast for myself & more in Part 27.

  • @BuyMyTools I respect your opinion, never-the-less most 9-5'ers are disillusioned drones with a disarray of priorities, from the gulps of Dunkin Dougnuts slop to wash away the day to the incessant self denial of tidy & inadequate facade. Much of the proverbial "Third World" has specialized medical care coveted by the contemporary world. I'm not a communist that would suggest that all people be low income or wear state funded uniforms. ...

  • @BuyMyTools Yes that is correct, & while not stemming from a insidious disdain. While I was pleased I had a buyer; The offshoot was a spectacle of mild envy given my then predicament to the contrary.

  • Also your judgment of 9to5 people may not be fair. You can't always judge a book by its cover. My one grandfather was a doctor and the other one a poor painter. Both were happy with their lives. My father was a 9to5 person and put five kids through college so they weren't a burden on society. If everyone lived on a few thousand a year USA may be a third world country.

My father has helped many trash collectors that came around looking for junk. Gave them cars, tractors, bikes, jobs, money
