Indiana Jones 4 Bullwhip: By Dan Ellefson of Texas Whips

This is just a short review of the whip I purchased from Texas Whips. It features:

12 Plait Saddle Tan Kangaroo Hide ending in a 8 Plait at the Fall hitch (I accidentally said 6 in the video)
8 Ft. Long
Latigo Fall

Dan Ellefson constructed this whip with the same design Terry Jacka used for the screen used Indy 4 whips. This features an internally bound 3 foot belly which extends the fulcrum point of the handle to allow better leverage and control of the whip. This allows it to crack with minimal effort and accuracy.

I just got a Joe Strain eight foot bullwhip and love it!!! I was going to order one from Dan also, but he was ill and hadn't had time to do any whips because of some health issues. I hope he feels better!!!

Joe Strain also makes an excellent whip. I hope Dan is well soon. When I spoke with him last (which had to have been over a year ago) he had been fighting the effects of a very serious case of pnuemonia, so I certainly hope that this recent illness is one that isn't so serious.
