Very cool

That looks great!. I also have a Martin Freekie controller, they are not the most versatile of controllers but you have certainly made the most of it. I have never used the midi input though.

Thats one benefit moving-mirror has over moving-head, much quicker movements when you need them. Nice show. What console are you using?

The scx500 is basic scan, scx700 is better ; more functions, better brightness (arc lamp, rotating gobo, independant shutter...) Prefer the 700 if you can.
Control is more flexible with a PC interface.

Cool show, what functions of the Freekie are controlable by MIDI? I want to use MIDI control for playback of scenes, so i dont have to switch bank, because that freezes all the output. (hope my english is correct, i'm dutch..)

@waatze Je suis désolé de ne répondre que maintenant, je n'ai pas vu votre question. Le seul controle en MIDI possible est 12 séquences des 3 premières banques par une simple note MIDI.
I'm sorry to answer too late, you can only switch 12 shows of the 3 first bank with a simple MIDI note, you must program them previously. MIDI is very limited on the Freekie =(

It's about 10 minutes max. For the same scene, you must program individually each SCX or group of SCX. If you want, you can select all SCX to program Gobo and Color but not when you program Pan and Tilt.
For example, press EDIT, SHOW, select bank and show and press FIXTURE. Select all SCX and give them a gobo and a color, after that, select SCX 1,3,5 give them Pan and tilt, deselect 1,3,5 and select 2,4 give them another pan and tilt. ONLY after that, you can press ADD to record your scene. ;-)
