Scotty McKay (Max Lipscomb) made his home in Dallas but spent as much if not more of his time down here in New Orleans during the early 60s doing gigs that included clubs on Bourbon St. and hanging over at Cosimo's where Johnny Vincent had him record for Vincent's Ace Records. He was always considered a feature performer for WTIX Day at Pontchartrain Beach. Just a note, Scotty passed away in 1991 at the age of 51 from a heart attack.
