"Hidari wa boku no de migi wa kimi no, Hidari wa kimi no de migi wa boku no" just made me tear up, which doesn't happen very often. And it's amazing how much emotion is conveyed through the whole thing. Their best song in my opinion <3

@thathapadude He wants to forget how he treated her, but he can't. His heart is starting to remember what love is like, but he had forgotten how to love in his last relationship. He is looking forward to his next relationship so he can do things right and be the better lover rather than the stronger person.

@thathapadude I think that the song is about a love gone sour. Possibly by cheating. He is getting prepared for his next relationship and he is thinking about all of the mistakes he made. He made himself a strong person who was able to live without his girlfriend, but he is realizing that somethings can only be completed with a partner. I think the person showing him the past is his ex-girlfriend.

@anifangirl97 Yes. This is RADWIMPS' signature song, but most, if not all, of their songs are really, really awesome. Noda (the vocalist/composer/lyricist) is absolute genius, no joke.
A lot of people seem to be confused about the last line "Have we met somewhere before?"
Now, I think that instead of the blue kid being a younger version of himself, it's more of a "god" character (like some have speculated) and the reason he's familiar is that the guy in red once chose to see the future. This is his second time around, and he's making all the right choices this time. I think this makes the most sense, though I'd love to hear others' opinions :)

lol, making sandwiches. But this song was really REALLY deep if you ask me. It's like a person that wants to redeem himself by changing a part of himself. Just like a sandwich, one person's entirety is composed of different parts or ingredients that affects and complements each other. So changing one layer/filling changes the entire sandwich, much like a person's character and personality as a whole.
