For the puzzle where you hit the 3 switches and the Minish portal appears, if you stand perfectly in the center, you can do a spin attack and hit them all without splitting.

You CAN throw Remote Bombs. You use the R button. This way, you can make the bomb explode it midair.

I have a hard time doing that with the remote bombs though. Especially in one area later on
