  • @MarritJolanda I use on my babies clothes and son w/ ecezma breakouts regularly. No issues.

  • Use a great laundry detergent with the Breathing Mobile Washer for amazing results and very clean clothes

  • HI, I just looked up what borax is and was kinda discouraged. I'm allergic to almost any laundry soap on the market, do you know if this recipe reacts on sensitive skin?

  • @2late4me2care oops! super washing soda, not baking soda.

  • 16 cups baking soda, 12 cups borax, 8 cups grated castile or glycerin soap flakes, 1 bottle of Lavender scented Purex Complete Crystals Softener, Mix all ingredients in large container and you have the best homemade laundry powder detergent in the world. Costs less than $15 and last almost a year for a family of four! (use 1/4 to 1/2 cup per load) ENJOY the savings and clean fresh smelling clothes at a fraction of the cost of store bought detergent.

  • Wow! I just discovered this channel and watched. Never thought of making my own detergent but I am one who believes in making homemade products because it's economical and safe for the environment. Subscribed!

  • So what does it cost for all the ingredients to make this and how long does it last you ? Thanks for the video

  • We use the same basic ingredients but slightly larger. Works pretty good. It cleans the laundry fine. Only complaint we have is the lack of fragrance. Saved us HUNDREDS already. With six in the house we used to go through laundry soap fast. This really works
