  • "I love you now, I know that doesn't matter"

This man is unbelievable. I would do just about ANYTHING to meet him, it would be such an honor...a moment I would cherish the rest of my life. His music is such a gift to me--I think it's a gift to everyone who listens to him.

  • That's awesome -- I felt the same way. I have yet to be able to see M. Ward on a solo tour (he came to my hometown last year but I had an exam that evening. Very frustrating) but I've seen Conor several times. Great show. I particularly loved M. Ward and Conor doing "Kathy with a K's Song".

  • @interrowhimper

Yeah I was there front row, I generally though out of all the times I've seen Conor's various different projects, and all the times I've seen M. Ward that was the best. It was amazing

  • Ha, yeah, Conor is usually pretty drunk at the end of the show, so that sounds like it fits. I would have loved to hear some things from that EP, it's one of my favorites.

I just saw Monsters of Folk in London, though, and he knocked over the drumset once, poured beer on it another time, and pushed his piano off of the stage at the end of the show.

  • @interrowhimper

He played it nate just made sure conor's beer didn't fall over; and then he came in with an organ solo...I'm not even kidding it took mr oberst about 5 minutes to put his beer down and nate had to take it and put it somewhere safer ha! this is an amazing song, an amazing performance and capped off an amazing show :)

  • Love this version

  • Wow. I didn't get to see him do any of the songs from the Gentleman's Pact EP. This is a really cool song -- I had wondered if he played piano on it or if Nate did.

  • first time hearing it (this guy)...n its realy nice ^_^

  • Whaaa .. I'll never thanks you enough for posting this video. It's a wonderful version of a so beautiful song, THANKS Lol.

  • he always plays this song at the end of his concerts

i remember when he played this song

it was like his second time playing that song in concert ever
