Not surprised he made it. If you give a deer time, and you do a thorough search and still come up empty-handed--9 times out of 10 that deer will survive.

I shot a nine point in almost the exact same place, rigfht under the heart. Luckily my arrow stuck in a rib cage and that rage was rippin him with every step he took. Found him about 800 yards later after pushin him. Check out my vid "Trail cam pics, hunts, and more" and you'll see him. First bow kill in Oklahoma.

LMAO!!!! He made it? That is one tough deer. Was that a Muzzy 4 Blade you were shooting? I just got a pack of those to try on these pigs. I hunted the past two nights...I am beat. Hunting till past midnight gets tough. LOL But it is still fun!!!

Never saw any buzzards but I did see that deer again. Got him on one of the game cameras about 3 weeks later. Can you believe that sucker made it !?!? Must have been on the Obama health care plan..LOL.
