Sure, you could stay home and take PADI courses at your local dive center. But nothing can equal the experience of living in beautiful Thailand with a group of fellow divers and getting out on the open ocean. You don't do any work in the "internship" not related to becoming a top-quality instructor and your time away from the dive center is spent with a small group of others who share the same passion and dream to make diving their career.
Aquanauts' internships are also a great value. If you paid separately for all the courses, dives, books, accommodations, equipment, certification fees and all the other items included in the Aquanauts Diving Instructor Training package, you'd spend more than $19,000! But join us and you'll save more than $10,000!
I heard Dive instructors on; make about $11/hr.
