Yeah i got some great memoties of Filbert Street.I was there when Keith Weller scored against Norwich wearing them white tights. What a shme we could'nt have extended it ,i'm sure we would have kept that great atmosphere.

@downset76 it was going to but not now and yh we would only fill in prem
-
Where does it say that mate and when does it say its getting extended ? and yeah im Leicester through and through but must admit cant see us getting 45000 every week , would love it if we did , maybe if we were a regular top 6 in the premiership ..

filbo was much better no atmosphere at walkers and away fans are other end from the kop

Shame. Went Filbert Street in its last season in the Prem following rovers. I remember the away end was gruesome, but great because of it. Good atmosphere too. All these new identical grounds have no individuality or atmosphere.

the walkers is being extended to 45000 on the website

id swap the walkers for Filbert Street any day of the week. The new grounds all look the same, no character, no atmosphere.
Some proper good memories at Filbert Street, The away fans right next to our kop and some really special nights. The Muzzy Izzet goal against spurs when we all had the " don't go martin" signs shall never be forgotten. What a shame the football factory came out and inspired a load of student cunts to come and join us. Our songs are shit now and I refuse to believe i'm the only one who wishes the mexican wave and playing music when we score a goal would fuck right off. We ain't a scarfer club.

Im a student myself, i remember filbert street but i was 7 when i first went and when it closed i was looking forward to the Walkers. My feeling has since changed the atmosphere is near always flat thats why i loved last season going to places like Walsall and Southend. I dont like the music either its pointless.
