At the market in Chichicastenango, Guatemala, Carrie and I felt like giants. In fact, we were giants.
Chichicastenango is a market in the mountains of Guatemala which has been there for 800+ years. The locals still dress in the clothing they've been making since the Spanish imposed a system of segregation through clothing styles on the indigenous people.
Despite the rules imposed by the Spanish, they made beautiful clothing and you can see (and buy) many of the styles in the market at Chichicastenango, Guatemala.
Check out how large we are as giants from the north.
