Agree with previous comment. This is a very good explanation of what should happen to start skiing smoothly, rythmically. Now all we need to do is put it into practise! I find that it helps to count to pace the turns, e.g., 123 pole right, 123 pole left, 123 pole right,etc. I don't can't always maintain the rythm depending on the terrain but it's useful to get me thinking and moving with that aim of smooth, regular turns in mind.

Fantastic video! Posted in 2009 and no comments?!?!? Crazy. Every ski school should show this clip and tell their students "this is what we are aiming for boys". Good work on describing all the steps easily. I look forward to seeing all your vids.
