so do you mic up your drums then hook it up to your pedal which keeps the sound going .then do you hook the pedal up to an amp or a pa system ?could you give me the names of some companies that make the pedals ?

Yep, being mic'd up to the pedal and out to a PA or amp will work fine. Three of the top companies would be Digitech, Boss and Boomerang. Look them up online and check out details on their loop stations, they've got cool stuff. Thanks again!

this is great . i have a couple questions tho did you loop the drums ,bass , shaker ,guitar with all the same pedal ? and how much did all the loop equipment cost ? im looking to buy it and do the same sort of thing only probably just mostly drums since i cant play other instruments very well . ive seen jaco pastorious and victor wooten do it with just basses. keller does kindof the same thing you do with all the instruments . i like what you do alot i hope to see you on the road sometime.

Thanks alot Jake. The pedal I'm using in this video costs around $400. I used it to loop all of the instruments. Most of the loop stations that are on the market would have enough memory to do something along these lines. Various models/companies offer various special features so if you look into some of the more popular models I'm sure you'd find something that'd work for you.

i have a few questions
1. can someone tell me some bands/people who do similar stuff to this.
2. can somone give me some ideas for songs in this genre but for beginners?

There are lots of loopers out there. I like to think of the Loop pedal as an instrument of it's own. Like the Guitar, everyone plays one but each person has his/her own voice, sound and style. Keller Williams would have to have been one of the first that caught my attention. Thanks for checking out the video.

J
