@vcsniper556 haha I totally understand that. I have only been around MG42/34s firing blanks. Im a reenactor; in my country New Zealand you can own full auto weapons BUT not live fire them. Blanks are okay but I would kill for the opportunity to fire one live.

@futurebestseller84 alright calm down. It wasn't mean't in an awful way...i was just listing out why no one probably shoots a huge burst. And all I was sayhing is that they probably aren't thinking of people on youtube and what they want to see because they are preoccupied shooting the MG 42.

@futurebestseller84 Probably because A: They are just having a quick go and they don't have a huge belt of ammo and they want to enjoy it not blast all down range in 2 secs or B: Its an old and expensive weapon and they don't want to damage it or C: they want to try and actually hit their target or D: Small bursts is the proper way to shoot it and probably also a bit of E: You and your entertainmet value while watching Youtube is probably the furthest thing from their mind.

@crelesa Much more slower RoF, difficult barrel-changing( MG42-> about 6-7sec Browning-> almost a minute), + No way(or very difficult) to carry/fire with it in assault mode.....
