But, youtube is flash, i tried it and the video doesn't play, it only has a play/annotations, etc. bar.

youtube probably codes their videos so they can only play on the youtube site. There are other sites you can find that will allow you to download the youtube clip and they probably found a more complicated work-around.

you can do this in I.e just find the page right click, hit view source, itll open in note pad, hit ctrl+f and type embed then look along the string untill you find the website name and the swf file embeded some websites hide this so you cant do it to prevent leechers

if i use adobe flash player or adobe flash reader will it play in that without load time at the start?

IE is just fine to use as a browser. Firefox didn't work properly with my HP's touch controls and IE did so I switched back to IE from firefox. Each has their own drawbacks.

I prefer to use fast video download add-on from the Mozilla site to download flash files and then use their flash program to view it you can sometimes download it in mp4 format! only downside though is you can't download games
