11-34 tooth 8 speed rear cluster with standard 52-42-30 triple front ring gear will resolve standing on pedals and get up any hill (melt down!!)anybody bought one and done a big ride?

What about in strong wind? test it on lets say an 80 kilometre ride as that's what I do to get to the miserable offering of surf we have here in good ol' sth.oz.
