Santa Monica Muscle Beach. Flying rings Quad back

Extreme. Since the the 1930's the flying rings has been part of the Muscle Beach atmosphere great circus performers and elite acrobats, Gymnist came to work out on the beach, in 1964 Glen Sunby one of the original pionners of Muscle Beach started the Santa Monica Gymfest and the Flying Rings was part of the event. Great flyers practice there skills here from Fay Alexander{Movie Trapeze}, and Reggie Amor to bobby Yerkes {Stuntdouble}, Before Circus legends and Miguel Vazgues caught there first Quad on the trapeze there was Denise Sherman he was the first to attempt a guad on the rings from there only 3 more did guads here is Val Dero trowing a Quad to the Sand.

The 70's were a wonderful decade when I could play on rings like that at a local park where I grew up. Wish I had the exact same strength now at 40 as I did when I was under the age of 10.

Where I grew up in Torrance Ca., there were rings at a local park I used to play on often. Also the church I went to had rings on their playground because they had a school. The rings bring back happy memories of my childhood; it's too bad they took all the rings out of all the local parks and school playgrounds; I guess it's because of careless kids and lawsuit-hungry parents.
