  • thats cool. not gonna do it though. was there a point in ur vid where u almost melted ur hand? and u keep on wiping ur mouth?

  • You have to use a wet towel to wipe the kerosene off your mouth after each time.

  • This I'm aware of, I was explaining the reasoning for doing so.

  • I wasn't saying it to you, I was saying it to godfather.

  • ok so i read your tutorial just one question what about like 151 or everclear i had a fire breathing friend who used those because when swallowed they don't exactly do more than make you drunk. and when i tried this i used 151

  • You can, but its not recommended. Its got a much lower flashpoint then kerosene, meaning that there is a much higher chance of setting your face on fire. The flame it produces also isnt as bright or strong.

  • I'm going to have to agree with ainefidileir. This kid shouldn't be instructing when he doesn't know what he is doing himself. You check which direction the wind is going BEFORE you blast, not after. No good checking the wind after you've already melted your face off!

Also - Kerosene is NOT the same thing as lamp oil. While similar, lamp oil is much cleaner and much safer than kero.

Seriously... Only use ultra-pure lamp oil. Fire breathing is fun, but it's not worth getting cancer over.

  • Cool, I wish I could manipulate fire : (

  • Is flouer safe? Like will it burn ur lips if u do it wrong or something like that?

  • then you should still realize this is not the instructional video...it's still only a demonstration.

  • yes i did watch the video.

And I watch the winds BEFORE I do a blast.

  • Did you see how he changed directions once he realized that the winds weren't in his favor? did you even watch it the whole way through?

  • THIS IS A TERRIBLE "INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO."

I'm a professional fire manipulator people. After watching this, I was shaking my head. This kid isn't even paying proper attention to the winds. His form is horrible.

Good lord. And the comments about wiping your face afterwards? * sigh *. funny that, I can still eat a torch and pull plumes and do transfers with my face covered in blast fuel.

I could write a novel on what's wrong with this entire post and related discussion.

  • not up to your standards yet, but i got some good ones

used your instructables page to do it too

  • to clarify, kero=lamp oil/paraffin in the states! In the states, Kerosene is dispensed out of pumps and used for heating and other applications, this is NOT the same stuff folks!

  • kerosene is definately the way to go, it has a tendancy to not come back at you - which as all fire breathers know is a good thing. it's also relatively safe compared to other fuel's to put in your mouth - kero also produces a wicked looking fireball, and is cheap. keep up the good work
