haigorei - Armelle Dousset - 09/11/23 at Urbanguild, Kyôto

I created the first version of this solo ("Ombre") in october 2008, when I was a student at CNDC-Angers. This short piece was the result of a one month's training with Kô Murobushi.
In april 2009, it became a duet ("Encore une ombre") that I performed in Lyon with Pauline Lemarchand.
I created this third version ("haigorei") when I was in Japan for a few months during this autumn 2009. I enjoyed Kyôto and Osaka's stages... This video was shot at Kyôto the 23rd of november (at "Urbanguild").
I focused my investigation on shadows, faces, cinema, sounds and obsessions.
