"I Wanna Be Your Man" is a Lennon–McCartney-penned song that was recorded separately by The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. The Rolling Stones' version was released a few weeks earlier. The song was primarily written by Paul McCartney, and finished by Lennon and McCartney in the corner of a room while Mick Jagger and Keith Richards were talking.[1]

The most popular version of this story ( the one I've read several times ), is that Mick & Keith called up The Beatles saying they wanted to release a single but were stuck for a song...had they got anything they could use?
They met with John & Paul, who told them they had a song but it wasn't finished.
They played it, M&K liked it, so P&J went to another room to finish it..came back and played the song.
M&K liked it and were amazed how quickly J&P did it..and said.." Yes we'll have it "

Yeah! When I was a teen I loved Ringo. But as an adult Paul become in my beloved one, because he sings so beautifully!
