While I am a Chair shipper, I am currrently not a fan of Chuck right now. The boy needs to redeem himself BADLY and DEAL WITH HIS ISSUES once and for all. And, I don't think a marriage proposal counts after all the shit he pulled (if you forgot: choosing his hotel over Blair, fucking half of Manhattan--boozing and coking himself up while he was at it--, fatwaing Blair, the ESB ultimatum and sleeping with poor Jenny). Nor do I think getting himself shot at in a Red Light District is a pass either. No, he needs to do MUCH MUCH MORE to make up for his actions towards Blair. She deserves way better than that. And so do Lily, Serena, Eric, Rufus, Jenny and Dan. And Nate too. I'm sick of Chuck acting like he's the Hamlet of the UES. I'd rather have the perverted puppy from season 1, then this Chuck who fucks over everybody and everything if things don't go his way.

This is my first foray into a non-period drama fandom. However, Chuck and Blair have always struck me as being very old fashioned and vintagy (elsewhere I've compared them to the Duke and Duchess of Windsor), so I don't feel like I'm in foreign territory.

I don't watch this show but hon you have been holding out on us !! Your editing has a fresh and raw elegeance !! I could feel the characters pain from your wonderful choice of clips !! I felt sorry for a character that I know nothing about and that is a powerful talent Hon !! Vidding in it's most pure... to Me , conveys feelings and a story above all else and you did that exceedlingly well !! I truly hope that this will not be your last foray into Non-period dramas !! Honey, Another masterpiece from you, for the record I've never seen the show :p but I understood completely what you wanted to say, one of the things I enjoy when watching vids is the way the lyrics fits with the clips, and you have done a great job.
