I come from a small suburb just near Manly called Clontarf, but hey there was nothing but a park to hang out there when I was a kid so I use to go to Manly for pretty much most parts of my social life. We then moved to Manly Vale, a bit of a cheaper area of Manly but still pretty nice, it was known as a bit of a dive as many years ago drugs, crime, unemployent and just poor people use to live in Manly Vale, but as always rent increases and the lower socio economic groups moved on to even shitty suburbs. Manly is a kinda funny place it has the most affluent street on the North Side of the Harbour Bridge "Bower Street" yet it also has lots of poor homless young people, full of travelers, it use to be poms but now the brazos (a derogatory term for Brazilian People) are the main immigrants. This song is on my album "Bridging the Gap" and although is not fav song at all, people really really like it. Anyway I hope you like it too.
