Nick-*Opens the door and gasps* Miley?
Miley-Hi Nick! We haven't seen each other since...
Nick-Four years ago.
Miley-Yeah. It's been such a long time. How are you?
Nick-I'm okay. I just got back from the hospital though.
Miley-Really? What happened?
Nick-I got hit in the head with a baseball at a baseball game.
Miley-See this is what kind of trouble you get into when I'm not here.
Nick-*Laughs* I can always count on you to make me laugh.
Miley-What are friends for? *Smiles*
Nick-Do you want to come in? I'm writing a song. Maybe you would like to hear it?
Miley-Sure. That sounds great!
Nick-*Sits at the piano and starts singing the song for her*
Miley-That was amazing. You know what'? If we changed some of the lyrics we could make it our own personal story
Nick-You're right.
*While they write they look out the window*
Miley-Looks like a storm is coming.
Nick-That's it! We could name the song 'Before The Storm'.
You're a genius!
Miley-Thanks.
*They finish the song*
Nick-I think it's great.
Miley-It is.
Nick-Do you want to watch a movie?
Miley-I have some time. Sure.
Nick-Okay. *Nick puts in a movie and hits PLAY*
*The screen shows young Nick and Miley playing in a kiddie pool together*
Nick-I didn't know we still had these. We were so young.
Miley-Yeah. It looks like we had a lot of fun.
*They watch a few more home videos and laugh, cry, and smile.*
Nick-*Turns off the TV* I never told you this but when we were younger I had a crush on you.
Miley-You did?
Nick-Yeah. Is it hard to believe?
Miley-No, cause I used to have a crush on you too.
Nick-Oh.
*Selena looks outside her window and across the street at Nick's house* *Thinks: Who's that? Why is she siting so close to him?*
Selena-Calm down, they're probably just friends. I need to be mature about his. *As she turns around she sees Nick kiss Miley on the lips* Did he really just do that? *Gets mad and calls Demi*
Demi-*Stops kissing Joe and answers her phone* Hi Selena. I'm kinda busy.Whats up?
Selena-What? Kissing Joe? I saw Nick kissing another girl.
Demi-How'd you know?Oh Selena. I'm so sorry. Who's the girl?
Selena-I don't know.
Demi-Don't worry we're on our way over to find out.
Selena-You're the best.
Demi-I know. We'll be there in 10.

*Demi and Joe arrive at Selena's house*
Selena-I'm glad you guys came.
Jemi-Your welcome.
*They walk over to the Jonas house*
Joe-*Opens the door* Hey Nick!
Nick*Surprised* Uh. Hi.
*Demi, and Selena look over to Miley*
Nick-Oh this is Miley, one of our old friends from New Jersey.
Miley-Nice to meet you. *Shakes Demi and Selena's hand*
Demi-*Smiles* You too.
Selena-*Tries to smile* Nice to meet you. Um we have to go.
Joe-No we don't.
Selena-*Elbows him*
Joe-Ow. I mean we do.
Demi-Yeah.
Nick-Wait. *Grabs Selena's arm.* Will you excuse us for a moment?
*They walk outside to the rain*
Selena-Are you crazy? It's pouring!
Nick-No, I think you have me confused with Joe.
Selena-*Doesn't laugh*
Nick-What's wrong?
Selena-I saw you kissing Miley.
Nick-Oh. You did?
Selena-I don't want to repeat myself.
Nick-It's not what it looked like. She said she had a school play coming up and she wanted to practice some lines with me. Miley's like a sister to me. Besides there's only one person I want to kiss. *Puts his hands on her cheeks and kisses her in the rain.*

*Joe and Demi look at Nick and Selena*
Joe-*Shakes his head* Kids.
Demi-I know right?
*They look at each other and start laughing*
Joe-*Kisses Demi on the cheek* Soft.
Demi-*Kisses Joe on the cheek* Scruffy. You should shave.
*They laugh again*
Demi-I'm serious.
*They laugh more*
Miley-*Coughs* Hem hem.
*Joe and Demi looks embarrassed*
Demi-Um...we got to go.
Joe-Bye Miley.
Miley-See you guys. *Watches them hold hands as they leave* What a cute couple. *Looks over at Nick and Selena. Nick puts his jacket over Selena's head.*
Miley-*Sighs* I've got to tell Nick the truth.
