A Jonas Story Episode 1- A Mysterious Bus

The first time I met Joe was kind of by accident.

I just had my one-year anniversary of working at McDonalds, and I was pretty excited. My first job and I made it through a whole year, with a managerial position available.

Anyway, it was just another day at work, me working in the grill area, making sandwiches when they were ordered while listening to the radio. All of a sudden, I heard a song I knew I loved.

"Hey Mo!" I yelled to the manager. "Listen! The Jonas Brothers are on the radio!!" I was so excited.

"Jonas Brothers," she scoffed. "Why do you like them? They suck. Their music is awful. LoveBug is the only good song."

"Come on, Mo," I said. "You know you love them," I laughed at her.

"Sure," she said. "When they show up here, then I will tell you that I love them."

"Promise?" I asked.

"Yep," she said as she looked out the window. "Hey, there's a bus out there. Its a pretty fancy one, too. Not like the school buses we usually get."

I came out of the grill area to look. "Yeah," I said, It IS fancy. Its probably one of those tour buses that people take. We had to rent one when we went to Washington, DC. They're VERY comfy."

"Yeah...," she drew out, "Somehow, I dont think this is a bus like that."

"Why not?" I asked. "Are you thinking of that news report we heard that said the Chicago Blackhawks hockey team went to the funeral of their general managers father in Toronto, and stopped at a local Burger King to eat before they headed back to Chicago? Are you hoping the same thing happened for Detroit?" I teased her about her favorite hockey team.

"No, Im telling you," she said, acting very cautious. "There's something weird about that bus. Have you noticed how no one has come out yet?"

"Look over there," I said and pointed. "Someone just came out of the bus and is coming in."

"Go back to the grill," she said, "Just in case they order something for you."

"Okay," I complied, and walked around the corner to go back into the grill.

"Now more people are coming out of the bus," she said.

And all of a sudden I heard, "Margaret, you may want to come back up here. Oh....my..God."

"Mo?" I asked, walking back up to the counter. "What's wrong?"

No answer.

WHO CAME OFF THE BUS?? WHY ARE THEY EATING AT MCDONALD'S?? WILL MO KEEP HER PROMISE?
