Noble Sissle and his band play "Those Little White Lies". Arthur Briggs and Tommy Ladnier are on trumpet, Edward Coles is on tuba and dances and drummer Jack Carter sings "Happy Feet".

  • @baghend Porter's nice, but oddly enough Al Bowlly sung 'You're the Top' much better, in my opinon. Benny Goodman is a genius, though. Gene Krupa practically invented every genre of modern music by inventing the modern drum set. I didn't see Chick Webb anywhere, though.

  • @inukirby992 Be as eclectic as possible in your musical tastes- its all wonderful. And the bands form the 30's are just marvellous- great old tunes, sophisticated lyrics, and some real genius- Porter, Gershwin, Berlin, so many others. Check out guy Lombardo from this period, Ben Selvin, Gus Arnheim, george Olsen, Paul whiteman, and of course benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey, Glenn Miller and others from a little later.
