@StlyeFree I tend to disagree, SNW production has been the worst Deftones have ever put out. Way too clean.
-
@lukesdrummingvids He did help them coming up with these demos, at least.
-
@knucklesawesomeness Nah. Tilde being the early version of Xerces itself...
-
possibly an early version of Tilde/Xerces?
-
bob ezrin did not help these guys out AT ALL....
-

Nah this shit is deftones at all lol Idc. I think I have the right to say that since i've been a huge fan since day one. BUt at the same tiiiiiime I can hear how it could come out with some good producing. It can sound evil and trippy especially once the right vocals are put over it.

Yea. Vocals on Saturday Night Wrist were mixed to perfection. I can't really describe any less than what Allmusic said "Chino's voice soars over the song". It's just perfect that way. Whoever mixed SNW needs to work with them more.

@StlyeFree shaun lopez of the band far did all chino's vocals since he pretty much couldn't work with the band. glad they're all back together again.

That's completely untrue. The only tracks Shaun did anything on were Mein and the bonus track Drive and he only produced them. If he did any other tracks, he would be credited for it in the personnel, which he wasn't, and Chino wouldn't have been credited for vocals if Shaun did vocals on all tracks too.
If, for some reason, you still don't believe me, compare the voice off SNW to the self-titled album, the live shows, or the new singles (Rocket Skates, and Diamond Eyes).

@StlyeFree i didnt mean he sang them or anything. he produced chinos vocals on the album. it says so in the liner notes.

oh my bad. I thought you meant he sang on them instead of Chino.
