Does he think that sakio bika and peter manfredo are deserving of a fight but Kelly Pavlik is not. What a bullshiter his son never has and never will fight prime opposition. That will always be stuck to Joe whenever boxing history mentions his name.

Hopkins was a P4P top 5 fighter when Calzaghe beat him. The point about Joe never facing good fighters fails.

@RomansPwnedJesus Of course Jones was past his best v Calzaghe, but Calzaghe himself was no spring chicken. There's little point in top boxers carrying on when well over the hill, except for money, trading on their earlier glories. And Joe had to cope with hand trouble for years. Even Mario Veit who Joe beat twice otherwise won all his first 50 fights, including v the current light heavy champ. There's been noone at middle, supermiddle or light heavy recently good enough for him in his prime.

@drag0nfist Hopkins chickened out of fighting Joe in the US years before they fought; it was on the point of being agreed and then Hopkins decided he would need a lot more money! So much talk here, Calzaghe must fight Pavlik, Calzaghe must fight Froch, they'll beat him etc, bla bla, and yet it turned out they lost to fighters beaten by Calzaghe. Whatever Joe did, whoever he beat, even when it was predicted he would lose, there were always excuses. Calzaghe is very underrated.

@redryan5048 Hopkins chickened out of a fight v Calzaghe arranged in the US years before they fought, and when Joe moved up a weight and beat him in his own country, Hopkins was champ, even at 43. Calzaghe overcame hand injuries and deserves a lot more respect for his will to win, spirit, adaptability as well as work-rate and fitness. It's often been claimed an opponent was gonna show him up and then when Calzaghe won, suddenly his haters would say the opponent was no good!

So much nonsense, so many comments on youtube on how Joe would be whupped by Pavlik and running scared. Except Hopkins beat Pavlik easily, which also showed Hopkins wasn't quite so past it as people said when he lost to Joe. Froch fancied his chances v Joe but lost to Kessler, who many said would beat Joe. When he lost, suddenly he was not supposed to be much good after all. Lacy was gonna whup Joe but was taken apart. Always ifs, buts and maybes, but the fact is that Joe was too good, a winner

@RomansPwnedJesus So Kessler had a hand injury v Joe, ha! Joe had hand troubles and injuries thru his career. He won fighting one-handed with a broken hand. Always excuses for the people Joe beat. Whatever was thrown at him, whatever problems he faced, he always had the answers; he had the will, the skill, the fitness and the brains. I have nothing against Kessler though.

@jcmmc Associated, Press, Yahoo, ESPN, Adelaide Byrd aswell as other boxing experts scored that fight for Hopkins. If they both had 6 rounds each, Hopkins wins because of the knockdown.

I beleive Chad Dawson called out Calzaghe Multiple times as did Pavlik
