What about when everyone seems to be happy all the time, and you're the only one feeling sad? I want to choose happiness but it feels like everyone else is blossoming at the moment whilst I'm failing everything. I got rejected from my first choice university even though I worked hard and got the grades they asked for, I failed my driving test due to an unlucky silly mistake even though I was ready... all my friends passed 1st time and got offers from their top unis. How do I choose happiness?!

happiness is a choice because ur attitude has a huge impact on ur overall feeling. even when u have negative thoughts that would potentially put u in a bad mood u can choose whether to listen to them or not. if u don't learn this u will be a angry fool for the rest or ur life.

I don't think happiness is a choice. It certainly requires a choice or a certain amount of choice, but happiness is not a choice. Wanting to be happy does not make you happy. Trust me.
