The Hardingham Mill(Norfolk) that was burned down has a history on the net if you Google it,with film scenes. The wonderful Carol Lynley has a Facebook group.
SO glad this is finally on DVD! There are so many memorable scenes in this movie, but this long chase was always the one that stuck with me most. The jazz score is amazing and the cinematography and editing are really strong. It's very intense and menacing the way it builds. There was something about Oliver Reed, and his gang of cretins with nothing better to do, that really scared me as a kid. Thanks for putting this up!
Creepy creepy movie this one. Havent seen it in years.

I always remembered this scene as being hot with the sexy miss Lynley. Decades later it all seems very lame.

I read that the film was shot on location at Hardingham, Norfolk which is inland. This part of the coast looks like Morston. Can anyone confirm?

She could have bought some time by doing a slow striptease. Guys love that kind of stuff.
