Asexual Bingo

Sometimes silly, sometimes serious, and always with lots of bad language and inappropriate graphics, here is a capsule view of the kinds of idiot comments I get on my YouTube videos and through other channels regarding asexuality. And keeping track of how much fail I encountered was made easier with the handy-dandy Asexual Bingo card. (Believe me, I've heard EVERYTHING on it, but I had to cut a lot of stuff even to make this video.) If nothing else, this should give you an idea of how often certain sentiments are expressed and why these people's knee-jerk condescending comments are not helping anyone and certainly aren't doing much but making them look like their anger and frustration toward me for not wanting to have sex is way out of proportion for what people should be expressing about some stranger's sex life.

Yeah really. I mean there ARE autistic people who don't experience attraction or don't want to be touched or whatever else, but it's not like it automatically comes with the territory.

Yes, people do like to scream "what about the babies???" but we all know that's an excuse. What they're really worried about is the fact that there's a woman out there who is perfectly capable of having sex and attractive enough that some people want to sex her, and yet she is not accepting any penises. The need to have sex not actually existing for some people makes no sense to them, so they try to make up a valid-sounding "reason" for attacking me. It's all very sad.

Ugh, I've gotten that in YouTube comments here and there--people saying they think I don't do anything else, when they don't seem to realize IF THE ONLY VIDEOS OF MINE THAT YOU WATCH ARE THE ONES ON ASEXUALITY, YEAH, IT'S GOING TO LOOK LIKE THAT'S ALL I DO. It does not take a detective to find my other content, and wow, is there a lot of it. Also I hate being told to calm down or to stop being so angry when all I did was reply to someone.

Ah, so if anyone makes awareness materials, it's for profit, not for the inherent benefit that people like us receive from people learning to understand we're here and not lying, sick, or in need of being fixed by sex with them. Asexuality also isn't "the choice of not having sex"--it's not being sexually attracted to anyone--so your attempt to make education efforts look silly and narcissistic just provided more evidence that people actually are pretty ignorant about it.

If we were gay don't you think we'd tell people that instead of saying we're asexual so we at least wouldn't have to deal with the constant rape threats and being told we don't exist?

If that caused asexuality then asexuals would be nonexistent outside of fluoridated areas. I've only used non-fluoridated water my entire life and I'm asexual, I also only drink spring water and water filtered with reverse osmosis and use fluoride-free toothpaste. By that logic, I shouldn't exist, and same with all other asexuals who aren't exposed to fluoride. You're just looking for excuses to believe people different from you can't exist.
