René Geneva presented her new eco-friendly line in the historic "Marble Room" of the Vienna Museum of Ethnology. The show was co-produced and moderated by the fashion guru Mario Soldo, organizer and creator of special fashion events by his company Mother Agency. Models were wearing tights sponsored by Wolford and shoes sponsored by Humanic.
As one of the few fashion designers who "went green" long before it was trendy, René Geneva has long been on many a fashionista's radar. American consumers and boutiques know her name well -- thanks to an exclusive line sold through Whole Foods Market, and multiple appearances at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week -- but now, Austria in the heart of Europe wants to get in on the Geneva action.
