Never seen the towering inferno, nor earthquake. The titles sound more like soaps than movies. But I'm sure they must have been good for that generation. I hope each movie is field with facts. I'll have to look for the books and streamline them. Remakes are hard to do. Well see.
I think any remake should be set at a high rise casino in Las Vegas. Some people would stay at slot machines that they think are hot and end up dying. Perhaps the fire is a result of an attempt to rob the casino's cage.
