He should have been given a chance during the ODIs against Australia. He is a better player than many think. Being an Australian, I don't see much of him which is a shame because he has such great energy on the field. A joy to watch on his day!

What about Stuart Broad. Monty bowled way better than him in the first test even though he was going through bad form and he batted with unbelievable responsibility at the end! Broad was crap and just kept bowling way outside off stump.
