Lou Gramm not being a member of Foreigner any longer, is much like Steve Perry not being a member of his respective band that he largely helped get to the popularity it did. When you change the singer, you change a fundamental and unique sound of a band. Anyone can sound just like any instrumentalist out there with enough hard work by practicing, but no one will ever exactly sound like Lou Gramm. Each human has a individualistic tone to their voice that you simply can't replicate.

Agreed Feargal - I know Kelly Hansen is a decent enough vocalist & importantly a good frontman, but he's not Lou Gramm .. Nuff said, save the fact that The ' real ' Foreigner is MICK 'N LOU' TOGETHER, EACH ONE AS IMPORTANT AS THE OTHER, & FOR ME, IF THEY DID EVER RE-UNITE, They would be a Headlining Act again, above Journey, & its for this reason alone they are second on the bill & not topping the show, shame, cos they have great tunes, are underrated & I love bleedin' FOREIGNER!!!

have you heard Lou lately? Kelly's vocal is still powerful, and he can reach all the notes. I love Lou, he's a great vocalist, but he cannot reach the high ones anymore.

sorry...this is not the true Foreigner - no Foreigner without Lou Gramm's so magic voice -poor Hansen is doing "his best" but impossible to come after the mythic Lou Gramm !!!

@Styxkyd Well I like all three bands but you're right...STYX's songs are better musically and lyrically than both Journey and Foreigner, IMHO!!!
