@euqsabtnatillim ive never heard anything more retarded in my life!!! I will FOLLOW and OUT OF CONTROL are amazing songs from boy, that are quite uplifting, rejoice is a good uplifting song, and so is 40! all uplifting songs, before biran eno, and lanois even worked iwth U2, so you obviously arent a U2 fan, cause you dont know squat about them and their songs! almost every song by U2 is uplifiting, i never feel depressed when listening to U2.

Is this song beautiful or what? Oh man this album is so good I rank it in my top 5 of all time..I have it on vinyl 1st pressing mint condish...my top 5: Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy, Frampton Comes Alive, Pet Sounds, Rubber Soul..and Boy!

say what you will about any of their other output, this album was a pure expression of their youth, before Bono put on his Fly sunglasses and they sold out stadiums. makes me kind of wistful for the past.

I still find this album inspirational 31 years later, if somebody did it now it would be considered 'groundbreaking'. I'm not against U2 these days but have been bored by them for a long time now, I guess we all get older though and those teenage, fertile ground years are a long time ago for me and for them. Into the heart of a child I go again...
