Because the CDEFGABC keeps repeating itself, How do I know which octave to use when reading music? How do I know to use the extreme left and right of the keyboard?

@jmh218 it changes with bass clef. you're thinking of treble clef
wat are sharps and flats are they the black notes

aww. we use different "names" for notes here. like "do" "re" "mi" and so on. although this isn't quite helping me, your tutorials are great :) ! you're an awesome teacher.
