Go Ghana go. Ghana has produced electricity non stop for 10 years unlike Nigeria that cannot produce it for 10 hours. Your oil wealth shall be a source of pride to send the curse back to sender: " Nigeria must go bag"

@martini-I do not gree in working with other african countries bcs Ghana itself is a country under development nd the Jubilee Field iis the best option to stabilized our economy bcs GHANA will benefit much more than partership with other African countries..Ghana will work alone nd develop our country...nd WILL WOTK ALONE..when other countries found oil the did not PARTNERSHIP WITH OTHERS SO WILL NOT DO IT ...if other countries need help the should seek it somewhere else..

I see it as a Bad news, with Oil will come the European companies, taking sides, using devide and rule, thus triggering a Civil war in yet another peaceful African nation.

@topazakins Why not work wit other African nations? There is a ready market within Africa for African oil and other resources. This can help electrify certai parts of Africa and to deveop the manufacturing sector!

@mocny01 Trust me I would hate to see Ghana become a replica of the American or European nations. Ghana should rather learn from their mistakes and develop its economy based on its needs and resources. There is definitely a need for more widespread education (not necessarily the western model) and the development of indigenous architecture, and social structures and an impovement in agricultural production and health care.
And you guys BETTER spend that money on something productive. infrastructure would be a wise investment. DONT SCREW IT UP !!!

God help ghana. i fear these useless bootlicker so called government will sell our country to foreigners and make this blessing into a curse. God will spank them all to death for their greed and hidden agenders. i pray for God to be with us and i hope this thing does not ruin the peace and happiness we enjoy in our dear nation. once again i hope these useless leaders get struck by lightening because they have done nothing!! for ghana. all that they do is divide us.
