Dogs enslaved in puppy mills live horrible lives. The USDA allows for these situations to exist and the regulations that the USDA enforce need to be changed. Imagine if you had to spend your entire life living in a 2 foot by 3 foot wire cage, being bred continuously and receiving minimal medical attention, excercise or socialization. Then when your reproductive capacity wanes you are killed. This is inexcusable. Please JUST SAY NO TO PUPPY MILLS.
wow why cant we just go over there at the puppymills and shoot everyone! there or wip them with a belt to learn

Why do puppy mills exists? THE ALMIGHTY DOLLAR!
27,473 abandoned animals die every day in 4 Thousand U.S. tax-payer funded shelters for want of a home at a cost of 2 Billion dollars a year.
It is scandalous that puppy mills are even allowed to operate when the animal overpopulation crisis is dire!
Shut them down!

Why do they exist? Because they are profitable. Don't buy a pet store dog or from any dog breeder who has more than two or three breeds. It's better if they just specialize in one. Don't buy a dog from a breeder who cannot show you the parents and relatives of the puppy. And better yet, don't buy a dog at all. Check out rescue centers. If you want a breed, go to breed rescue organizations. Don't support dog gulags anymore!

Why do Puppy Mills Exist? Because we all became apart of the problem. Now that is coming to an end as we wake up, stop blaming, stop feeling quilty and its as simple as that. Then there will be no more Pupppy Mills. Anyone involved with Puppy Mills, purchasing from them, going to Pet Stores that puchase them , purchasing a Puppy from a Pet Store that is known to purchase from Puppy Mills, should all be held accountable. The information is out, so buyer beware! Accountablity for all invloved!!

Bottom line is that responsible breeders will not sell to pet stores. Despite what owners of pet stores say, their puppies come from puppy mills. The store owners will tell potential buyers anything they want to hear. Sure, these puppies come from responsible breeders. Sure, these puppies were raised in a loving environment. Sure, these puppies are healthy. Sure.
