カトリナ状況情報第一
レイとモンタナ
ニューオーリンズから

Japanese report on Katrina by Ray and Montana from New Orleans:

Ray: This is Katrina's effects. Thinking of it now, it is amazing.

Montana: We are standing in front of an abandoned home, it's been a year, and this is the result.

Ray: We are all doing our best

Montana: We've come to understand that it will take time. Currently I, in one, my brother in one, and my parents live in a FEMA trailer.

Ray: It's something like that over there. Something you would see out of the capsule house from Dragon Ball series that's where people live.

Montana: Even whole families with dogs reside in these.

Ray: We're all doing our best.

Montana: So that's the report on Katrina for today. Please tune in next week for another.

Ray: Oh no. This is just the beginning. Hold up.

  • Well, Ray and Montana are currently living in New Orleans as they finish up their degrees. They moved here from Japan in 2003 and will be finishing up school this year. They did not evacuate prior to Katrina, went through a shelter in Texas, and are currently in FEMA trailers, so they have experienced this first hand. Their parents were stationed in Japan whilst they were growing up.

  • Please see comments for the translation of this piece. All new videos posted have English subtitles. ^_^

  • Oops. I meant to say check out the description for the translation. Onegaishimasu!

  • What language is that? They don't look Chinese. You need English subtitles. I'm sure you have something interesting to say. Too bad! B.E.

  • The language is Japanese; Ray and Montana Rodney grew up in Japan and speak Japanese as their first language. Will definitely work on getting subs for future vid's.

  • Showbread,

Here's the answers to some frequently asked questions and for much much more, please go to antja dot net Since returning from a 25-year hiatus in Japan two years ago, Americans (just as the Japanese did when we were in Japan) want to know why we took the route we took. The answer is different, depending on if asked by Japanese or Americans. We now consider that the Japanese felt our journey was the initiation of a project that could never be fulfilled in a homogeneous society.

  • wtf
