@myriadwhims He plays the lick over an entire chorus of the blues. If you hear any clashes where it doesn't work then don't use it there. To my ear it works perfectly fine everywhere. :-)

Feeling really dumb, but what is this progression? Could this fit in in a standard 12-bar blues song? If so, where? It seems like the chords would clash, but I'm probably not hearing right! Thanks!
