The Dangers of Bunching - July 18th 2009 First and Only Bolton Woodland

Just a quick vid here as most the footage I got that day wasn't particularly great, hence this late upload.

Anyhow, this vid shows two of the prime things that will get you eliminated in airsoft very quickly:

1) Bunching up, don't do it. More space between your group means there's less chance of being hit by one pyro or a hicap dump, big targets are easy to hit

2) Lack of initiative. As much as airsoft is a game you have to learn to take control of a situation and do something instead of just trading BBs, everyone just sitting in one place not doing much results in one big target (see point 1).

But, I think for that particular group this was their first time out and the only 'veteran' player got hit early on while on point and in time they should learn from their mistakes.

It is indeed the site with hamburger hill, which around this time of year I imagine is going to be absolute murder to take. Last time I was on the hill in March I remember sinking to my knees in the mud :D

yeh the majority of us had never played before, although we were completely pinned and had barely started the game so taken by complete surprise.

Few of us guessed that the given objective was fake and that the actual was an ambush thus the fact we were still moving to the objective as a group.
