City of Heroes - Allegiances (Issue 18/GOING ROGUE Trailer)

Video #42 - the answer to life, the universe, and "where the hell has Samuraiko's GOING ROGUE video been all this time?!" It's my fault, I know - between moving, job-searching, and other real life stuff that just insists on getting in the way, this video is far later than it should have been. And for that, I apologize. Honest!

But here it is, at long last - "Allegiances," my trailer for the City of Heroes: GOING ROGUE expansion!

I've always found that Freedom Corp "Might For Right" poster a bit sinister, given that if you do Indigo and Crimson's missions you learn that Might for Right was the name of a shady government project to control heroes.

Great vid as always. I've never seen the Arachnos posters and I've been all over the Isles. Where are they?

@zeiss33 Thanks! Actually the Arachnos posters ARE all over the Isles, but tend to be kinda grimy and hidden. The ones in the vid are in Recluse's Victory when Arachnos has successfully taken control of Atlas Park (and in the Arachnos base itself regardless of who controls the zone).

Anyone know why praetoria in the CoH comics is so different from praetoria in game? Or when I19 comes out?

@fdythunre In the comics, it was originally the 'goatee' version of Primal Earth. But starting with GOING ROGUE, it was retconned to give it greater depth and character, leading to a much more developed place than originally presented. I personally like the idea that the comics show OUR (Primal Earth's) initial perception of Praetoria, but the gameplay shows the reality.

This makes Going Rogue look so interesting that I might finally spend some time working on my Praetorian toons. For some reason I haven't be able to work up any enthusiasm up for them but now I'm totally psyched at the idea! Thanks so much for the wonderful video.
