  • Sorry to burst who ever's bubble that put this up but Zeke's founding members Are Mark and I this was taped in a brief period where I left the band because of Marks heroin use. Dizzy is how ever an original member buzzy was a fill in for this one show. Mark, Dizzy and I are the original founding members of Zeke.

  • Like it says, "with original founding member Dizzy"..........Buzzy's only listed as being in the video.

  • damn, this is some good shit, oldest zeke vid i have yet seen

  • @LadyApril1 For some reason I'd sooner get confirmation straight from Dizzy about anything Marky OR Donny say LMAO

  • @feniandan The comment below with my name on it was written by Mark who was very vague in his response to Donny intentionally as this is a public thing. People get in wedgies for attention but that also accounts for all of us, including, dare I say... MARKY too! Donny jumped the gun here with his comment and I think he probably realizes this. A few people know the real story but most do not. For some reason there are conflicting opinions...

  • Wow. Early stuff.

  • So many great Zeke shows at the Storeroom and Lake Union Pub, this brings back awesome memories!

  • actually Don, Mark has told me that Buzzy was in fact the original drummer for the Mighty ZEKE. My friends Dizzy and Buzzy have also said the same thing. Why the fuck wouldn't you want to play in a band with Dizzy anyway? That guy could really fucking throw down, and it sucks he went the way he did.

  • Fact: I don't recall exactly how many shows we did with Buzzy, but this most certainly wasn't the only one. Donny rejoined the band after a show at another Seattle club where his band, the Rhino Humpers, played with us. The main reason he gave for quitting was not wanting to play with Dizzy. He didn't say anything to me about drug use at the time. Buzzy was around for the writing of Hate, Highway Star. - Mark
